Why the Angst?

Most normal people, people who are not political by nature and who just want to live life as they see fit, are increasingly baffled by the near insanity of the reaction to the Trump Administration from the Left-wing activists.  To be frank and direct, many of them appear to be off their meds and need to get to a clinic fast.

The rantings of some elected Democrats only feed into a psychopathy that is simultaneously childish and highly dangerous.  While it is expected that an open Marxist like Bernie Sanders would run to the metaphorical barricades, why is this becoming the accepted response of the Democrat Party?  Why all the angst?

To understand where we are today it is important to have a clear view of how we got here.  That requires a little history.  Put plainly, today is the first time in 80 years that the Marxist/Globalist cadres that run the Democrat Party have had their narrative challenged.  This is the first time in all those years that the fearsome nightmare of Global Government and elite rule are being challenged.  They just do not know how to deal with it.

Going back a bit further, the Marxist Left came to America in the early 1930s.  As Stalin was ridding the Soviet Union of Trotsky and his followers – believers in a world revolution – large numbers came to the United States.  From Day One they set their sights on taking over the U.S.  This influx was increased when the Frankfurt School and all their hangers-on came to escape Hitler in Germany.  Together these two waves of radicals helped form the basis of the Leftist Movement in the United States.  These are the “red diaper babies” and the parents of the future radicals of the New Left, SDS and all the turmoil of the 1960s.

This gang embraced World Government, Woodrow Wilson’s infatuation with elite so-called “expert” control of government and a disdain for the will of the People.  Throughout the Roosvelt years, these people infiltrated every institution, government body, university, trade union and business suite they could.  When the War was won in 1945, they were positioned to direct the country.  And that is when the narrative was set.  It was not a conspiracy, it was a consensus, an agreed upon set of goals that all shared.

What was the storyline the Leftists advanced?  World Government was top of the list.  From the United Nations to all the alphabet-named organizations that tied the United States into a web of alliances, binding agreements and countless drains on our Treasury, the Left sought to submerge America into a system that had American troops bleed for globalist agenda items and American taxpayers subsidize every wild-eyed scheme conceived by the “experts” – all the while funneling untold billions of dollars into the pockets of leftist organizations and high profile individuals.

Nothing was what they said it was --- nothing.

Over the ensuing 8 decades there have been “Republican” administrations.  But the sad and shameful truth is that none of them really attacked the underlying narrative of ever-expanding government and complete commitment to what George Bush called the “rules based international order.”  Eisenhower didn’t touch it.  In fact, he augmented it with spending and devotion to the world order being built on his watch.  Nixon saw it for what it was but was in many ways a tool of the narrative.  Never forget, the EPA was his idea.

Reagan faced a multitude of crisis and chose one – the infamous deal with Tip O’Neill that gave Reagan the tools to defeat the Soviet Union and left the “domestic policy” to O’Neill and the Democrats.  That bargain may have looked good at the time, but it has not aged well.  Then, there is Bush – 1 and 2.  Both were international-globalists from the get-go.  Neither had an ounce of sympathy for bedrock America.  Their family fortune, after all, was built by Samuel Bush –Woodrow Wilson’s War Time Procurement Officer.  War to feed the military-industrial complex and trade deals and international agreements that devastated the American industrial base and millions of working-class families are their legacy.

And that leads us to Trump.  Donald Trump was an expression of pain and despair – a literal primal scream – from the American Heartland against the woke-leftist-marxist cabal that had run the country for 80 years.  He was the giant middle-finger to the Bushes and to the Democrats and all the elite institutions that had so arrogantly disparaged traditional America and its citizens.

We now know that from the beginning the traitors in the deep state had planned to undercut and divert him.  The whole “Russia” hoax – pushed by a slavish, compliant media – was nothing but a political hatchet job, aided by the uni-party “Republicans.”  But after all of the dirt and lies and propaganda, after an election that was at best tainted, the American People had suffered enough.  And that led us to the 2024 election installing Trump back in the White House.

And that brings us to today.  With just two months in office, Trump has shown beyond a shadow of a doubt that he intends to overturn the rouge coup imposed on America some 80 years ago.  He is fully aware of what he is doing, has a plan and will not stop.  The narrative is being thrown on the ash heap.

That is why all the angst.  It’s why the Democrat Party is in such total meltdown.  It is why there is no coherence from the media or the Democrats or other formerly designated authorities.  They do not know what to do.  They have never lived or operated in a time when the central collectivist narrative was not controlling.  And that is why it is so dangerous.

With no controlling entity, the mobs of “rent-a-rioters” once unchained will run amuck.  Violence is already being pushed from numerous quarters.  So, as the weather warms up and Trump and crew continue their long march through the Marxist institutions, angst could well turn uglier than we have ever seen.  Those that have spent a century capturing America will not allow a return to Constitutional government and individual liberty without a fight – even if they are not sure where to punch.  Buckle up!  Its going to be a bumpy ride.
