A Lesson Donald Trump Needs to Take to Heart
Events of the last month have been mind-numbing. Beginning with the attempted murder of the leading candidate for President, moving on to the countless examples of the breakdown of security, the Republican Convention that was anything but “usual”, the Democrat Party coup forcing the incumbent President to withdraw just to satisfy the demands of a hardcore globalist/Marxist core and up to now the insanity of the selection of Tim Walz as the Vice Presidential nominee, it is easy to see how important actions and revelations have simply disappeared. People cannot keep up and maybe that is the whole point.
And were all of this not enough, the American people have been inundated with the most aggressive and crushing wave of propaganda ever seen. From every angle possible, the public has been saturated with a constant drumbeat designed to convince people that Kamala Harris is a serious person, that she is not in fact a neo-Marxist with some really dangerous ideas and that the “people” are flocking to her in giddy anticipation.
Of course, this blitz is all lies and mercifully not being swallowed by the public. But as difficult as it may be, it is vital that Trump and his loyal supporters dredge up something from July 12 of this year, the day before the attempted assassination. On that Friday, Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social:
“Just head from Great Congressman Andrew Clyde of George that the Amendment to Defund the Prosecution of a Presidential Candidate prior to November’s Election did not pass, 26 – 25. It lost by only one vote, because one Republican, Mike Simpson of Idaho, stupidly voted NO..”
Why was President Trump surprised? Mike Simpson has been a toady for the GOP, Inc. establishment since his first election in 1998. Alternatively called “moderate” or “pragmatic,” these phrases are commonly used to try to conceal the reality of just another establishment foot soldier of the Deep State.
But the sad part of the story is that in 2022 President Trump listened to “advisors” and others tied to then Speaker Kevin McCarthy and decided to sit out a competitive primary. Simpson was widely distributing a blanket endorsement from Trump that had been issued in the 2000 election. The aim was to deceive the public into thinking Trump was endorsing his 2022 race.
When this was brought to Trump’s attention, he was advised to just ignore it. McCarthy wanted Simpson as a loyal pet who would do as he was told and the primary opponent was backed by the Club for Growth – at that point in time at odds with Trump and the MAGA movement. So, Trump – up to his teeth in allegators and traitors – demurred. He followed the tainted, self-serving advice and stayed out of the primary. With the phony “endorsement” being pumped out non-stop, Simpson won his primary and went on to be re-elected for a 13th time.
Two years later, that same Mike Simpson stabbed Trump in the back.
As fate would have it, the bill President Trump referenced would have been of no consequence. So why bring this up?
The answer is simple. We are all now in the stage of any campaign where knowing reality is near impossible. It is often referred to as “the fog of war.” Perception is distorted, especially by the worthless “presstitutes” of corporate media. And it is at points in time like this when candidates turn to others for advice and help determining the reality of the situation.
The Mike Simpson debacle is a timely reminder that those in the RNC, Inc. world will give bad advice, they will consul for actions that hurt MAGA and Donald Trump, not help.
There is a tendency in MAGA world to accept the recent conversions of establishment, RINOs as a real thing. Only if a Republican politician is an open quisling like Larry Hogan or Liz Cheney do they get pushed aside and put outside the tent. That, as Mike Simpson proved in July, is a major mistake.
The GOP establishment will never support Trump or MAGA. They are tied to the military-industrial complex and profit from the endless wars. They are employed by the think tanks and Endowments that serve as nothing more than operating units of the CIA and the Deep State. They live off poisonous trade deals. They love the flood of illegal aliens committing Jeb Bush’s countless “acts of love” on the American people. They will never accept middle America.
And the truth is, MAGA doesn’t want them to. To be embraced by someone like Larry Hogan is disgraceful. The Mike Simpsons of the world are no better. Old adages apply here. If you feed a stray dog, it keeps coming back. And if you pet a snake, you get bitten. On July 12, Donald Trump got bite. Let’s all hope that he has learned his lesson and will stop listening to the snakes that surround him today.
